Kokoda trail

On the 26th June 2022, Mick Robson and David Robson, two dads from Engadine Dragons, along with some members of Como Football Club and others, set off to trek the Kokoda trail in PNG.

The group of 17 men and one woman walked the 98 km through the jungle to raise much needed funds for Gotcha 4 Life and mental health.
Gotcha 4 Life was founded by radio and TV personality Gus Worland following the death of a close friend.

The group, including Gus’s son Jack, completed the mighty trek in 8 days and have raised close to $100k, that will be used to assist in funding mental health clinics through sporting clubs in the Sutherland shire.

Well done to everyone, what an amazing achievement and a great cause.

You can see Gus Worland speak at our Engadine Dragons, Mental Fitness 4 Life Luncheon on 22 July at Club Heathcote.
